Got a bright idea about how we can use location data to solve problems, drive innovation, or transform industries? Working on a project that’s pushing the boundaries of geospatial technology? Or maybe you’ve spotted a trend that’s about to change everything?

Well, here’s your chance to share it with the world (or at least a pretty impressive crowd).

This year, GEO Business is shaking things up with the introduction of brand-new sector-focused theatres. And we need big thinkers like you to help fill them with fresh ideas and inspiring stories.

Whether you’re exploring earth observation, revolutionising transport infrastructure, or rethinking how location data drives energy solutions, there’s a stage for your expertise.

The event is all about showcasing how insights from geospatial technology are transforming industries. So why not show off your latest work or share your expertise and get in on the conversation?

Introducing the theatres

This year’s event introduces six new theatres, each covering to a key sector where geospatial technologies are making a big impact. If you’re working on innovative solutions or tackling challenges in these sectors, this is your chance to shine.

AEC Stage

Let’s talk smart buildings, digital twins, or how BIM is levelling up architecture, engineering and construction (AEC). Got a project that’s used insights from location data to reimagine the built environment? Share it here.

Transport & Infrastructure Stage

This theatre looks at highways, railways, bridges, and beyond. How can geospatial make infrastructure smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient? We’re looking for insights on everything from smart transport to next-gen planning.

Utilities & Energy Stage

Renewable energy? Check. Smarter utility grids? Check. Talks on geospatial’s role in powering the future? That’s what we’re looking for on this theatre.

Commercial Stage

Location, location, location! Whether it’s real estate analytics, retail site selection, or financial decision-making with spatial data, this is the place to share your expertise.

Earth Observation Stage

Space, satellites, and the big picture (literally) – that’s what this theatre is all about. From climate and disaster monitoring to resource management, we want to hear how satellites and remote sensing are unlocking a deeper understanding of our planet.

Surveying & Mapping Stage

Precision mapping and surveying remain the backbone of geospatial practice. Talks on advancements in GNSS, drones, and LiDAR are in demand for this theatre. If you’ve got a new technique or a mapping success story, we want to hear it.

Why you should speak

Presenting at GEO Business is your chance to share your vision and connect with an audience eager to understand how they can use location insights to improve their work.

You’ll position yourself as a thought leader, gain recognition for your expertise, and have the opportunity to inspire change across industries.

Who should apply?

We’re seeking speakers who can captivate audiences with:

  • Bright ideas and fresh perspectives
  • Real-world case studies of innovative projects
  • Emerging technologies and transformative solutions
  • Forward-looking trends shaping the future of geospatial
  • Inspiring stories that can help the audience think differently

From seasoned professionals and startup innovators to academic researchers and first-time speakers, GEO Business wants your voice to be heard.

We also strongly encourage diverse voices to apply. Geospatial impacts everyone, and the conversation is richer when it reflects a variety of perspectives.

Whether you’re early in your career, from an underrepresented group, or working in a region that’s not often in the spotlight, your insights and experiences are invaluable to unlocking the potential of location data.

How to get involved

Submitting a proposal is easy. Just complete the application form to tell us what you want to talk about, why it’s relevant to one of the new sector-focused theatres, and how it’s going to wow the audience.

The deadline for entering the call for speakers is Friday 21 February, so don’t wait too long to apply.
