GEO Business 2022 call for speakers deadline extended until 7 March

Calling all geospatial experts! There’s still time to apply to speak at GEO Business 2022.

We’ve extended the deadline for the call for speakers for GEO Business 2022. You now have until Monday 7 August to apply to take to the stage at the show this year.

The event features multiple theatres, with an extensive, free-to-attend seminar programme. So there are plenty of speaking opportunities on offer.

Elizabeth Kavanagh, Senior People & Change Consultant at PCSG and the founder of the Behaviours4Collaboration group, has spoken at our co-located show Digital Construction Week many times.

Here are her insights on what you can expect as a speaker at the shows:

If you are interested in speaking but not quite sure how to get ideas for your session, Elizabeth has the following tips for you:

“Talk to colleagues and those who might be your audience to understand what questions they are seeking to answer then base a talk around that.

“Look out for opportunities to collaborate, e.g. with a client to produce a case study or give alternative perspectives on the issue you are discussing.

“Build questions for the audience through your talk, generating discussion and also thoughts amongst your audience, it also makes it much more entertaining for you too!”

To apply, you just need to submit details of your presentation via the call for speakers application form before the deadline of Monday 7 March.
